Privacy policy
Updated October 2026
This policy explains what FlatbedDispatch ("we") collects through flatbeddispatch.com, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. We collect as little as we can and we do not sell personal information.
What we collect
Dispatch applications and quick apply. Your name, mobile phone number, email (full application), trailer type, number of trucks, whether you have your own MC and its MC or DOT number if you give it, authority age, home base, preferred lanes, best time to call and any notes. We also record your consent to be contacted.
Contact messages. Your name, email, optional phone number and message.
Technical details sent with a form. The page you applied from, the referring site, first-visit campaign tags (UTM parameters), a device type (mobile, tablet or desktop) and the time. We use your IP address to limit abuse of our forms; we do not store it with your application.
Calculators. Numbers you type into our calculators stay in your browser. They are not sent to us. If you use "Copy link", your numbers are placed in the link you copy and nowhere else.
Why we use it
- To contact you about dispatch services, as you asked, by phone, text or email.
- To prepare for onboarding if you choose to work with us.
- To protect our forms from spam and fraud.
- To understand, in aggregate, which pages are useful.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site:
- Our email delivery provider, to send your application to our desk and a confirmation to you.
- Cloudflare, which hosts our network edge and runs the Turnstile spam check on our forms.
- Our hosting provider, which runs the website.
If you become a client, we share the carrier details brokers need (for example your MC number, W-9 and certificate of insurance) with brokers you approve, so they can set you up and pay you. We may disclose information if the law requires it.
Cookies, storage and analytics
- Analytics. We use a privacy-focused analytics tool that does not set cookies and does not collect personal information. It loads only after you interact with the page.
- First-visit cookie. A first-party cookie (fd_utm, 30 days) remembers the campaign tags and referring site from your first visit, so we know which channels bring applications.
- Browser storage. The application form saves your progress in your browser session, and the onboarding checklist remembers your ticks in your browser. Neither is sent to us.
How long we keep it
We keep application and contact details as long as we need them to respond and, if you become a client, for the length of our relationship and any period required for our business and tax records. You can ask us to delete your details at any time.
Your choices and US state privacy rights
You can stop texts by replying STOP, and ask us at any time to stop calling or emailing you. Depending on the state you live in, privacy laws may give you rights to know what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of its sale or use for targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising. To make a request, contact us using the details below; we will verify the request and respond within the time your state law requires.
Security
Forms are sent over HTTPS, and access to application data is limited to the people who need it to respond. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send documents like insurance certificates through the contact form; we will ask for those securely during onboarding.
Children
This site is for commercial carriers and is not directed to children under 16.
