Short answers, grouped by topic. Each one links to the page that covers it in full.
Pricing
What is your dispatch fee?
6% of the gross on loads you haul with one truck, 5% when you run 2 or more trucks with us.
Are there setup fees or minimums?
No setup fee, no weekly minimum and no charge on weeks you do not haul.
Is the fleet rate a promotion?
No. 5% for 2+ trucks is our standard fleet price, applied to every truck.
How do I cancel?
The agreement is month-to-month. Give 30 days notice in writing.
Getting started
Which trucks do you dispatch?
Semis pulling flatbeds (48 or 53 ft), step decks and conestogas. Nothing else.
Do I need my own MC?
Yes. We dispatch carriers under their own authority, new authorities included.
How long does applying take?
Quick apply takes about 30 seconds and the full form about a minute. A dispatcher then calls you.
What happens after I apply?
A call about your truck, lanes, home time and minimum rate, then the agreement, documents and broker setup.
How loads are booked
Do I approve every load?
Yes. We send the full details and numbers, and nothing is booked until you say yes.
Where do the loads come from?
The major load boards plus our broker and shipper contacts, filtered to your deck, gear and lanes.
Do you negotiate tarp pay?
On every tarped load, along with detention, layover and TONU terms on the rate con.
Can you guarantee rates or a number of loads?
No one honestly can. Markets move. We negotiate every load against your minimum.
Paperwork
What documents do I need?
MC and DOT numbers, a W-9, a certificate of insurance and, if you factor, a notice of assignment.
What insurance do brokers ask for?
Commonly $1,000,000 auto liability and $100,000 cargo for flatbed, sometimes more for high-value freight.
Who handles broker setup packets?
We do, using the documents you send us once.
Can I keep my factoring company?
Yes. We send paperwork where it needs to go and include your notice of assignment in broker packets.
